"What is happening at the banks of the Brahmaputra in the 21st century? Two writers, one from England and one from Assam, India, have encapsulated the hidden beauty of the Brahmaputra River and its surroundings in both abstract and descriptive poems. A real glimpse into two worlds which have been united through the power of nature."

These two writers are Arnab Jan Deka, a famous writer who has authored over 100 books and Tess Joyce, a writer from London, who is currently staying in Assam, India.

Both writers have composed poems concerning the Brahmaputra River, the riverine people and their cultures and have then translated these poems into both English and Assamese.

Their admiration for the Brahmaputra River was so great that both authors agreed that all authors' proceeds will go to the charity SAVE THE BRAHMAPUTRA RIVER launched by the Assam Foundation-India (Registration No. RS/KAM/240/H/287)

The book was published by Spectrum Publications in association with Philling Books on the 31st July 2009 and is available in stores across India. The book will be reaching UK shores shortly.
